Kiso is a mountain region along the Nakasendo road, a route used by feudal lords during the Edo period, and is home to 11 historic post towns.
One of these, Kiso Fukushima, is the hub of life in the Kiso region. There are fewer tourists in the winter, but local people continue to go about their daily lives at a relaxed pace.
Why not experience the traditional winter and the unpretentious lifestyle of the locals while staying at Old-style Japanese-style inn?
We have prepared a 2nights plan for you to experience the crafts and food culture of the Kiso region. During the day, you can enjoy a self-tour or join an optional tour and freely enjoy the life and nature of the Kiso region.
